Peel Metro Station is roughly four minutes away on foot, while Montreal Central Station is around a 15-minute walk. The district combines university buildings, museums, shops, restaurants and offices. Most central sightseeing is practical without a car, although Mount Royal routes involve uphill walking and winter conditions can make pavements more demanding.
